Purchase and Apply Your Kaspersky Antivirus License

This article will detail how to purchase Kaspersky Antivirus and install your newly acquired license.

It is assumed you already have a trial version of Kaspersky Antivirus installed and you are ready to purchase the product online with a credit card.

(If you do not have the trial version installed, please visit our recommended antivirus page for more information.)

You may want to print this page for reference throughout the procedure.
Purchase the product

Begin by visiting the Kaspersky eStore

Choose Your Quantity and Length

Use the drop-down box to select how many licenses you wish to purchase as well as the length of your license.

Each computer you wish to protect must have a license, and the length of the license determines how long the product will function. The product will not function once the license is expired.

Note that if you intend to purchase protection for more than one computer or for longer than one year the price is discounted.

Once you have made your selection click the "Buy Now" button.

Save Your Order Information

Once your order is successfully processed, you will be taken to a "Thank you for your order page!"

We recommend you print and save this page. We also recommend you create a PDF document of this page.

(For more information on creating PDFs, visit our Free Software page and click on "PDF Creator".

Even though you already have the product installed, we recommend you follow the download link and store a copy of the software along with your license/order confirmation page.

Your reference number and activation code are the most important pieces of information on this page. It is important to keep these so that you can re-install the product in the future if necessary.

You will also receive your order information via e-mail. We recommend you save the e-mails for future reference.
Apply Your License Information

Open Kaspersky Antivirus. This can be done in 2 ways.

1. Click on Start, then Programs (or All programs), then Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0, then Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0.

2. Locate the Kaspersky Antivirus on your system tray. It will be located on the bottom right corner of your screen (next to the clock). It will be a large "K". If you do not see a large "K", and instead see two arrows pointing to the left, click the arrows to reveal the "K". Double-click the "K" to open Kaspersky.
