Create VPN shortcut in Windows 10
This post is for our more technically-inclined customers. If you aren’t comfortable with the following and are having trouble with your VPN, please contact us for help.
When setting up a VPN using the built-in Windows VPN feature in Windows 10, it isn’t near as easy as it used to be to create a desktop shortcut.
You can browse to the following path and copy the appropriate file in order to create a VPN shortcut:
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Network\Connections\Pbk\
The file is “rasphone.pbk”
