When providing voice over Internet protocol services (“VoIP”), we collect subscriber information, which is limited to your name, address and telephone number. We also collect information about the quantity, technical configuration, type, destination, location, and amount of your use of our VoIP services and information contained on your telephone bill concerning the type of phone services and features you receive. That information, when matched to your name, address, and telephone number, is known as Customer Proprietary Network Information (“CPNI”). CPNI does not include subscriber list information by itself.
We may share your name, address and telephone number in order to provide regulated caller ID services, 911 and e911 services, 411 and similar directory services (“Regulated Services”). With the exception of these Regulated Services, CPNI is never shared with any 3rd party company unless we are legally obligated or required to do so in order to deliver our VoIP services.
We may share your CPNI and other customer information with law enforcement, government officials or other third parties when we are compelled to do so by a subpoena, court order or other similar legal procedure.
