Aiphone power supply hanging out of the wall
This is work done by a local security company in Midland. They installed an Aiphone intercom and this is the corresponding power supply.
Rather than install the power supply in the IT closet with the rest of the physical security gear, they decided to leave it in the reception area. Why do all that work to consolidate your equipment and make things look clean and professional when you can just throw it on the floor of the nearest office?
As you can see they couldn’t be bothered to mount the power supply to the wall – but don’t worry – the paper shredder sitting in front of it acts as camouflage.
Even if the customer signed off on this (which you shouldn’t have needed to ask for), at least take some pride in your work. Mount it under a desk or somewhere out of sight.
